The recently-announced credit card breach at P.F. Chang’s Chinese Bistro appears to have gone on for at least nine months: New information indicates that the breach at the nationwide restaurant chain began on or around Sept. 18, 2013, and didn’t end until June 11, one day after KrebsOnSecurity.com broke the news about the break-in.

Nationwide chain P.F. Chang’s China Bistro said today that it is investigating claims of a data breach involving credit and debit card data reportedly stolen from restaurant locations nationwide.
The Target Breach, By the Numbers
News that Target’s CEO Gregg Steinhafle is stepping down prompted a flurry of reports from media outlets trying to recap events since the company announced a data breach on Dec. 19, 2013.
